Right now when I look out my window its dark and foggy and starting to snow. THANK GOD! I am in major need for a snow day. If we have one I'll actually get off my butt and take pictures. Hey! Remember how I was talking about my DIY project? Well, I finally got off my butt and went to take some pictures. I got the patterns for them from The Cute Book. It's amazing! I pretty much made everyone of the animals from the book over the weekend.

Kidnapper, Panda, Terry the Terrier, Froggie, Lizard, Squirrel, Bird, Owl, Hippo and White Rabbit.

Look at how sneaky Kidnapper is. Coming to ruin the party. Tsk, tsk.

I have bruises on my arms from pinches

HAPPY ST. PATRICK'S DAY! So, I don't own anything green, like seriously nothing. That means I was a pinching bag. I really have bruises from all of the pinches, which makes me mad! I'lll go HULK on you! Haha he's green right?

This is how I'm showing up to school next year. That'll show 'em, no more bruises for me!!

PS I got battery's, but I'm just being a procrastinator. I've been making DIY creations and maybe someday when I can get off my butt I'll post pictures of them.

Hey! So, I haven't posted in a while, even though I went shopping last weekend and have all this other news. Sorry, it's because I have no battery's. WANTED: 2 AA Battery's, NOW. I mean there aren't any, anywhere in my house! Like what the heck is up with that. But, soon I'll get some. Hopefully tomorrow so I can have some long posts over the weekend.

Remember the black and white inspiration from yesterday? Well, if you don't just scroll down. Here's my version. I think I kinda look like an upset 50's mom. But a young mom right? Right.

Today's outfit was veryyy 50's pin-up, or at least that's what I was going for.

And here's a picture of my pretty backyard and the Au Art Van. Well, its a portion of my backyard. The rest looks kinda trashy and run-down right now without leaves on the trees. Maybe when everything starts blooming I'll do an adventure in my backyard shoot.

PS. I might get to be a foreign exchange student in Australia next year!!!!!

Today so far has been a VERY eventful Friday! Here are the highlights; Across the Universe, Spirited Away, making collages, taking pictures and... DAH DAH-DAH DAH!!! MY DAD BOUGHT THE HAT. AND I MEAN THEEEEEEEE HAT.

He found this magnificent hat, with a pretty little hat box, at GOODWILL. Ok, so here's the fyi, my family and I are simply addicted to Goodwill, like no joke. I'm serious we make a family trip almost every evening after dinner. Any-who, on to the hat. It's vintage and in WONDERFUL condition. So, of course I had to make an outfit.

And here's a close-up of my shoes. I inherited them from my grandma after she passed. I guess their from the 1800's or something!



Alright, I think that's all for tonight. OH and there's an AU update. As you may or may not remember, AU is my parents business. It is a tee-shirt company that features cute little characters and our signature AU on our designs. For those not in the loop AU is the symbol on the periodic table of elements for gold. And since my family lives in GOLDEN, COLORADO it makes sense. Haha get it? AU Golden, Colorado? Yeahh, its pretty clever. Anyway the big news is AU got a new shipment of American Apparel tee-shirts and started to print on them. So the pink shirt I'm wearing in the picture is one of them! Remember the talking flowers in Alice in Wonderland??

Well Karl Lagerfeld, you've done it again! This Springs Chanel Couture Collection has inspired me to be a talking flower when I grow up. And I could really pull it off too, I just need to uhhh grow petals, leaves and a stem. Anyway, I love the sophisticated look. The tailored, well-fitting, black and white pieces make me want to go live in a dark, well-dressed city full of men in Prada suits. And the hats! OH MY GOODNESSSS!

So, here's my version. I know it's not exactly the same but I think I put my own flair into it. OH! And I'm sorry about the poor lighting, it was so windy out today the tripod kept blowing over!!

This is a close-up of the flower clip my mom conveniently had and let be borrow! Wellll, actually she doesn't know that she let me borrow it yet, but when she gets home from work I will inform her! Haha, but really she wont mind, the scarf I'm currently wearing is something I bought and she had for like the PAST 4 MONTHS!! Oh the woes of mother/daughter relationships.

HEY, it's my first post! Let me tell you guys a little about me. My name is Madeline, I'm a 14-year-old girl from Colorado. At my school you're fashionable if you wear sweatpants tucked into Uggs, so I decided I needed to change things up a bit. Therefore, I'm new to this, cut me some slack.
